Woven in Kanchipuram, heavy with zari, built for the big day.

Our Story

A saree isn't a garment off a rack.

It's six yards someone spent weeks weaving — a border decided on, a colour argued over, a pallu folded a hundred times until it fell right. We think it deserves to be chosen with that same care.

Taluku Taara works directly with weavers across silk, cotton, linen and zari, so every saree that reaches you still carries the hand that made it.

“Every saree here is picked the way you'd pick it yourself — held up to the light, checked at the border, felt between two fingers.”
